Self-Help Groups

Self-help groups are informal groups of people who come together to address their common problems. Although the individuals benefit from the self-help groups, however their main characteristic remains mutual support.

Group members are volunteers, who work systematically and regularly to change their own circumstances. The group is made up to 20 members, as smaller groups are enable effective participation of all members in discussions and decision making.
